Ben and Tai

Here's another original work.

As two of the most prominent male characters in my series, Ben and Tai represent two sides of the same coin. Ben had the perfect high school experience but rebelled against the creative world he was raised around refusing to become involved in the music industry. He desired to be a photojournalist and secretly wished to be a superhero. Tai, meanwhile, was all but invisible to everyone growing up. With little to no social life, his high school experience was uneventful and his dreams were always to someday become a part of the world of entertainment much like his mother Jacinda and his cousin Andie were. When Tai discovered his telekinetic abilities, he reluctantly became a hero and used his powers to make a difference. By contrast, Ben immediately took to the role of hero when his teleportation powers surfaced.

Though they may be quite different, Tai and Ben do share a unique bond that forms upon meeting. Tai immediately feels an attraction for the dashing Ben but he keeps it a secret since Ben is straight and dating Tai's ex Melissa. Still, the pair become partners at Femmes Fatales Investigations which leads to a friendship being forged between them. I wanted to draw the two together since I don't do it often. It's fun to show off the friendships that exist in my series.
