Here's another commission from ~Dhoomk22
I was asked to draw Batgirl as she appears in the Thrillkiller: Batgirl & Robin. Though I may be a fan of Barbara Gordon's character, I've surprisingly never read Thrillkiller though it remains one of the more critically acclaimed alternate reality stories out there that has been produced by DC Comics. The look she was given is certainly interesting to say the least. I think the opera length gloves look fabulous and the mask is pretty cool as well since it allows her flowing hair to breathe and be fierce. Eschewing the cape is a different look for her as well since it's been such a staple for Batgirl in all incarnations. The major thing here that's a little odd is the fact that she's got her midriff exposed. It was the mid-'90s and Shania Twain made the belly top the new thing so I guess that's maybe why she has one? Of course, the story is supposed to be set in the '60s so... Anyway, I had fun drawing this incarnation of Barbara. It's always great to get to draw Babs especially when it's in costumes I haven't drawn her in yet.
