Commission - Young Justice Tigress by Femmes-Fatales Commission - Young Justice Tigress by Femmes-Fatales
Another commission for ~Dhoomk22

I was asked to draw Tigress (AKA Artemis Crock) from Young Justice but rather than have her featured with black hair she would be coloured with her natural blond. Therefore, I was asked to draw Artemis without the benefit of her glamour charm from Zatanna (though I drew it anyway). This was fun since I got to draw Artemis and tried a different pose. It's not really one of my standard hands-on-hip poses I rely a little too much. I also really like Artemis more generally so getting to draw her was fun for me. Aside from Aqualad, Artemis is really one of the better characters on Young Justice. She should be given lots of credit since her relationship to Kid Flash helped him go from EXTREMELY irritating to being palatable as a character. After all, Artemis finally saved us from more scenes of KF coming on to Miss Martian when she CLEARLY was not interested. Anyway, this isn't the more familiar look for Artemis but it's cool anyway.

Enjoy!

Gotta love Artemis, such a cool character, & neat idea with her being born into a family of super villains but deciding to go hero (I think one of DC's biggest mistakes with the new 52 was introducing her in the comics only to kill her off in the same issue, in spite of the fact alot of Young Justice fans would have loved to follow her in the comics). I liked her romance with Wally as well, ya know, when he finally wised up (listen to Mr. Nelson, Wally, the wizard in the helmet knows all lol)...& it was funny how she didn't let him get away with anything & rightfully so lol.

It's kind of a cliche, actually. We saw similar narratives prior to Young Justice. It's a shame they didn't bring Arrowette or Mia onto the show instead of Artemis.

Oh well, I still enjoyed it, hadn't seen a DC show do it before...Unless ya count Raven since she's Trigon's daughter & all.

Raven would count. As would Spoiler (Stephanie Brown), Cassandra Cain, and Scarlet Witch (to name a few). They all had villainous parents but chose to become heroes instead.

ah, good examples lol. Well, at least they made Artemis' tale interesting to watch, it was cool to see & learn about her home life, what happened with her folks, & what became of her sister (Cheshire, seriously cool character)

Cheshire is a great character. The arc in Birds of Prey where she was the main villain (Sensei & Student) was fantastic.

EEH! I love this, especially when Artemis is my favorite character on Young Justice. I love how you drew her and you did it well, you also managed to get the pose to fit Artemis' character just right. Thank you for doing this een though it was a commission for someone else, I still appreciate you doing it.
