When it comes to Saturday morning cartoons, "Justice League" was one of the best -- until "Justice League Unlimited" came along and blew it out of the water with its massive roster! I loved that we got to see just about every Justice Leaguer we would have ever have wanted to see. Vixen was among the few who got a large role on the show. She was fierce, feisty and had super cool powers. On top of that she was voiced by the always talented Gina Torres. Even though she's often written badly in the comics, we'll always have the cartoon version to love forever.
Oh... and why is she one of the VERY few black superheroines at DC? Marvel has a few (one of them being Storm who is f*cking awesomeness wrapped in an often barely-clothed package) and DC has Vixen and a few randoms.
Ah man, you're missing out. You can skip the 3rd one 'cuz I heard it sucked (it didn't even focus on Blade much), but the 2nd and 1st ones should be easy to scout down.
I can't remember too much from the 2nd one but the 1st is still really good, and probably best to start off from too.

We'll see. The only vampire movie I ever liked was "Interview with the Vampire" and that was likely only because a) I read the book and b) Tom Cruise. Most others disappoint me. ESPECIALLY "Bram Stoker's Dracula" they turned a piece of horror fiction into a f*cking gobble-dee-gook romance film.
The third film looked like it would have been the best -- mostly because it had an ass-kicking female and Ryan Reynolds shirtless... which is always a good thing.
Not exactly related, but speaking of black superheroes/heroines, you heard that the anime company Madhouse is doing a Blade adaptation?

Anime needs more black people in it in general. Lol. But I'm not too familiar with Blade anyway. I haven't even seen the films.
