Here's another one of Storm's cartoon looks.
I initially eschewed drawing this look given its similarity to another one of Storm's looks but ultimately decided to draw it anyway. I figure the fan-favourite cartoon deserved representation in the chronology and it offered enough differences to warrant being called a "look" for her. As such, I hope you guys like it.
Of course, "Wolverine & The X-Men" (as short-lived as it was) continued the Storm cartoon curse. Despite a promising episode early on that focused on her struggle against the Shadow King, Storm dropped from the radar of the show as it pressed forward. It may have been a series about Wolverine but it's disappointing that one of his closest friends in the comics (that'd be Storm) got the shaft in favour of focusing on some of the characters who already have received a lot of attention in previous cartoons. Boo. Still, Storm was represented as a strong and fierce woman with a lot of compassion. When it came to her costume, she wore a modest navy blue bodysuit with yellow ribbing details and gold cuffs. She accessorized with a yellow draped belt and a cape (naturally). It draws heavily on the costume she wore when she operated with the X.S.E. in the Uncanny X-Men title.
