Part 2 of my re-envisioned X-Men, Beast and Iceman from Team Alpha.
The son of two doctors, Henry "Hank" McCoy (AKA Beast) is a certifiable genius whose intelligence made him a natural scientist. His athletic prowess also enabled him to become a much-loved football player. An avid multi-tasker, Hank divides himself between his duties as an X-Man, student at Columbia University and football player. He's a soft-spoken and gentle young man who is as level-headed as they come. He is close friends with his teammates and looks up to his mentor, Professor Xavier. He's currently dating Vera Cantor, a student volunteer at the library.
Robert "Bobby" Drake (AKA Iceman) is a man of many insecurities and contradictions. He comes from a closed-minded family that abhorred anything outside of their vision of a normal American. As such, Bobby plays the role of the stereotypical straight guy class clown in order to deflect the attention away from his true self. He can be loud and inconsiderate at times but sweet at others. He's impulsive and hot-headed partly due to the fact that he is the youngest X-Man. He's a freshman at Columbia University and has imagined himself as becoming an ad man someday. His closest friend among the X-Men is Hank but maintains a secret crush on him. Bobby's confidante on the team, however, is Jean Grey. Her awareness of the "real" Bobby has made her the one person Bobby goes to whenever he needs to let down his guard.
Obviously, this information here is a speculative and creative re-imagining of these characters. As such, these blurbs are non-canon. The costumes and their looks here are of my own design but are fairly common among re-imagined costumes for the X-Men.
